With the heat, Brecken has been loving the water. We bought him a little pool last week and he loved sitting in it and splashing the water all over himself. He even played with a water balloon until it popped. We also went to the Kirkland pool and played with his friend Colten in the kiddie pool. The boys had a blast. 
Over the 4th of July, we took Brecken camping at Birch Bay for 3 days. He was truly a good sport. He slept through the night even in the tent all 3 nights and loved watching the dogs run and play in the ocean. The fireworks didn't scare him at all. He just stared at all of the fun colors. There were tons of kids around for Brecken to watch and play with. The weather was a bit cold but didn't seem to bother him at all. Since we love to camp, it is a good thing he also seemed to love it.
B is turning into such a big boy. He now sits in high chairs and loves sitting in the front of the shopping cart whenever we go to the store. He is sneaky though, he also likes to grab things off of the shelves. Usually he drops them on the floor, but one day, I am sure I will be coming home with items I wasn't aware were placed in the cart!!!
On Father's Day weekend, we took Brecken to the Seattle waterfront and rode on the carousel. He had a great time riding the horse with his daddy. B is scooting all over the house. He loves to just jabber as he is pulling himself around. The other day I even found him putting his hands in Jagers water bowl. Baby proofing here we come!!!
